Have you ever wanted to eat with a sight of hundreds of sea creatures swimming all over the sea right in front of you? Then visit The Under! The Under was submerged in July last year and opened on March 21st. The restaurant features a eleven meter wide panoramic window viewing the Norwegian waters. The building is made of strong reinforced concrete that's a half a meter thick to withstand the spots harsh waves and winds. The restaurant is sixteen feet below sea level with a tough glass window. Want to go? Here's the problem it’s hard to get to. The easiest way is to fly to the nearby airport then its an hours drive. "Fortunately there will be a boat service soon," says Rune Grasdal the architect who built it. Under was built above sea then submerged and attached to the sea floor via 18 anchors. Under is one of the first of its kind and hopefully will not be the last.
